About Us

Founded in 2016, the Pan American Neuroendocrine Society (PANS) unites leading edge scientists at the intersection of hormones and cell types and circuits they regulate, advancing discovery from foundational neuroendocrinology to clinical breakthroughs.

Message from the President

Dear PANS Community,

Welcome to the Pan American Neuroendocrine Society (PANS)!

PANS represents a vibrant community of scientists united by our passion for neuroendocrine research and our commitment to scientific excellence across the Americas. Our society stands on three pillars: promoting neuroendocrinology research, supporting early-career researchers, and fostering international collaborations.

With members spanning many countries, PANS provides a unique platform for scientific exchange through in person meetings, virtual programs, and mentorship initiatives. We take pride in offering our activities in multiple languages, reflecting our commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Our MAPS mentoring program, career development workshops, and travel grants demonstrate our dedication to nurturing the next generation of neuroendocrinologists.

Whether you're an established researcher or just beginning your scientific journey, PANS offers a welcoming community where ideas and collaborations thrive. I invite you to explore our activities and consider joining our growing scientific family!
